How do I create a Maid Smart Account?Your account is automatically created for you when you book a cleaning service online with our website. You simply set up your account, choose a password, and that is it! You can find the login link at in top right corner on any page of the Maid Smart website.
Do you service my area?We provide professional cleaning to multiple areas throughout New Jersey and is constantly expanding. You simply need to enter your zip code on our zip checker to see if your area is within our service zone.
What is included in a standard cleaning?Our standard cleaning is suited for homes that have been professionally cleaned within one month and includes everything that typically is needed to provide a clean home. We clean and vacuum the floors, thoroughly clean your bathrooms, kitchen, living room, family room, and etc. We do offer additional services; these can be selected at your booking. If your home has not been professionally cleaned in one month then we ask that you select our deep cleaning option due to the extra-care and time needed.
What is included in a deep cleaning?We always attempt to go the extra-mile during each cleaning, regardless of the options chosen, but time constraints sometimes require us to prioritize your home's main needs. Our deep cleaning option adds the additional time necessary for our cleaning team to focus on details and heavy dust or grease removal (i.e. baseboards, smudges, greasy kitchen cabinets, calcium buildup, cleaning hard to reach areas, and etc.).
Do you clean homes that need extreme work?Yes, we are happy to help clean even the most extreme jobs, if they don’t pose a health or safety risk to our teams. We do these jobs on a per hour basis or based on an in-person estimate.
How much will a home cleaning cost?Our pricing is based on the estimated hours needed to clean your home; online and via telephone, we do this by calculating the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in your home and your selecting of additional extras (i.e. fridge, oven, deep cleaning, and etc.). We are always able to provide an in-home estimate for extreme or special situations (post-construction, pre-showing, homes larger than 6,000SQFT, or extreme heavy soiling or dust) Maid Smart will always honor any estimates or quotes when accurate information is provided.
Do you bring your own supplies?Our professional cleaning teams bring their own cleaning supplies and offer a green option at checkout. If you wish to provide your own supplies or have special request let us know and we will try our best to accommodate you.
Can I add special request?Absolutely! You have the ability to place a request at our online booking page or when you can log into your account and add comments.
Can I trust my cleaning professional?Your safety is of utmost importance to us and we vouch for every one of our cleaning professionals! Every individual Maid Smart team member goes through a nation wide background check and are personally interview before being brought onto our team.
Does my cleaning professional go through a background check?We wouldn’t let anyone into your home that we wouldn’t let into ours! Every individual who joins our team is required to have no criminal background and goes through an extensive prescreening process to ensure this.
Can I give Maid Smart my key?Yes, for our reoccuring clients we offer a secure and insured key storage. Your key is numberically coded without your personal information, stored in a key safe, and released and returned the day of your appointment. This allow you the flexiblity of having us work around your schedule at your convience.
If a cleaning service listed on the general page is not listed in the extra services section when booking does that mean it's standard?The extra service options address areas outside of our standard and deep cleanings. The inside of cabinets is one of these extra areas, and it requires that all delicate items have been removed to avoid any damage.
What happens if something goes wrong?Our goal is to make sure you have a seamless experience; in the off chance that something goes wrong we are here for you! Our customer service is available to help, contact them with any issue and we will work diligently to correct it.
Is my billing information kept safe?Your security is of utmost concern for us. Our site is secure and we use a secure third party for charges, Stripe, and no credit card numbers are stored in our system. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry
What is your satisfaction guaranty policy?Your satisfaction is always guaranteed with us! If you aren’t happy with your cleaning, we will come out and re-clean the needed areas. If you still don’t feel we did a great job, enough to recommend us to your friends, we will provide you with a refund.
What is your refund policy?Your happiness, and home cleanliness, is our primary concern! If you aren’t happy with your service even after our team has re-cleaned your home, we will provide a full refund.
How do I book a cleaning?You simply fill out our booking form, enter your information, and click book. It is as easy as that!
What form of payments does Maid Smart accept?We accept all debt and credit cards issued with the Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club logos.
How do I reschedule my cleaning?You can reschedule 24 hours in advance on the phone or via your Maid Smart account.
What if I’m not happy with my cleaning?You simply contact our customer support and we will arrange a re-cleaning for you! If you still aren’t happy after your cleaning, we will provide a refund.
Why is it cheaper if I book a recurring cleaning?When your home is regularly cleaned by a professional the upkeep reduces the build up of heavy dust, dirt, and grim, thus less time is needed to provide you with the utmost service.
Does Maid Smart clean hazardous materials or pickup after pets?No, we have a strict policy of not dealing with biological contaminates or any hazardous material. This is for the safety of our cleaning professionals
Does Maid Smart move furniture?No, we have a strict policy of not moving furniture or objects over 25Lbs. This is for the safety of our cleaning professionals.
Does Maid Smart offer green cleaning?Maid Smart does green cleaning when requested by a customer. You can find the green cleaning option on the booking form under extras. The green cleaning extra adds a total of $20 to your cleaning.
How do I rate my cleaning team?We will send you a survey after our team completes your home. You are able to provide us feed back, and you always are able to contact us over the phone.
